JANE JORDAN

DEAR JANE JORDAN-I learned two days ago by accident that my wife was unfaithful. My first impulse was to kill both her and the other man, but I realized that one can't give way to one's emotions, so even in my first fit of temper, I didn’t let her know that I knew of the affair, If I would, I know that even now I would lose control of myself and do something that I would be sorry for. I dare not even let myself think of it. Naturally it keeps haunting me. I try so hard not to let ii get me down but with so much pent-up emotion I fear that I shall be a case for the psychopathic ward unless something is done. My wife is voung (but not that young), very pretty, gay, and has an extremely good personality. She vows and declares she is in love with me, but I wonder. I am only three years her senior, so it couldn't be that she thinks I am getting old. I am fairly athletic, tall, slim, and of reasonably good nature. Please tell me what I should do because it has come to the point where something must be done, and soon. PERPLEXED.

Answer: What makes vou so sure that vour wife has been unfaithful? How do you know the source of your information 1s accurate? Did you see her with another man and jump to conclusions, or did some troublemaker tell you tales under the guise of friendship? Before vou believe such serious accusations against the woman vou love, vou should be sure that you are right and not simply in a jealous frenzy.
