French Lick Springs Filled With Derby Week-End Crowd

Kentucky Derby fans from the four corners of the United States swarmed into louisville today for the 66th running of the Churchill Downs Many parties arrived from French Lick Springs, Ind., where thev had awaited the event, Mr. and Mrs. Stuyvesant Peabody. Chicago. were expected to arrive with their party from French Lick. The Laurance Rockefellers and Capt. and Mrs. Eddie Rickenbacker with a score of the Peabodys’ guests flew from New York to Louisville Thursdav and motored to French Lick for the house party. The Peabodys, with Miss Harriet McLaughlin, Chicago, and Mrs, Jack Lemon, Wichita, arrived at French Lick last Wednesday. Indianapolis residents expected to arrive from French Lick included Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Kirshbaum and Charles S. Rauh. Mr. Rauh was to be the guest of Mr, and Mrs. R. B. Knode at the Derby. Their other guests were to include Mrs. H. C. Knode, Miss Jennie Fishbein and Dr. J. William Wright. In the party of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Zwick were to be Miss Esther Yancey, Mrs. Lottie Zwick and Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Thacker. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Joyce were to include Mr. and Mrs. John L. Murphy, New York; Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Ruh, Columbus, O.: Mr, and Mrs. Dick Bavles, Miss Theo Baltz, Arthur Donavin and Charles Jovee Jr
