Volunteers Clear 25-Acre Plot Around Homestead At Richmond.
Tee S yal RICHMOND, Ind April A Restoration work began today on the old Evans homestead in Quaker Hill here In preparation for making it an American Friends Service Committee shelter Tor European refugees The first two refugees arrived in Richmond ¥Friday and the work foreman came today. It is expected that the homestead and the adjacent Claythum Jones residence, | which has heen leased for dormi- | tory facilities, will provide facilities | to take care of about 30 refugees by the time restoration work is complete in about five months Isaac E.
