Bids on the U. 8S. Army flood control program on White River were sent to Washington today, after being tabulated by the Army District Office at Louisville, Ky. Army engineers stationed here said they had received notification from the Louisville office that David W. Johnson, Ine, of Newark, N. J, was low bidder on the program, with an estimate of $340,369.50. A total of 23 bids were received the highest of which quoted $638,027.50.
