Receipts of 14,150 hogs at Indianapolis today forced the top price down to $5.05, lowest since Aug. 1, 1934, the Agricultural Marketing
Service reported. Prices were 15 to 20 cents lower, the full 20-cent loss being made on weights above 160 pounds. Packing
sows declined 15 to 25 cents. Good and choice 210 to 220-pound hogs again headed the price list. An extreme’ limit of $5.10 was paid .on some strictly choice consignments. Vealers dropped another 50 cents with a top at $10. Fat lamb prices were about steady. The steers and heifers offered ran heavily to medium grade and below. Slow trade put steers mostly in the weak to 25 cents lower brackets, but heifers sold - Bosdy tseady.

A 23-acre of State Road 67 near Lawrence, Ind. is expected to be open by May 15. It will be operated by Play-More Amusements, Inc., whose incorporators are Robert J Rutherford, 'Edwin W. NEW YORK, April 1 (U.P.).— An unexpected rise of a full point in steel operations steadied the stock market in. afternoon trading today after prices had turned down in the general list. Steel shares, which had registeréd losses ranging to nearly a point, came back to around the previous close. Recessions ng were halted. These had occurred in lead-| ing issues on profit-taking following, a morning recovery. Numerous special issues were, strong.
