Commonwealth Loan Co., incorporated in Indiana, April 25, 1922, has executive offices at 316 Guare anty Building. John H. Aufderheide, now chairman of the board of directors, first began making small loans in 1887. The business he established became the forerunner of the present company, of which Rudolph C. Aufderheide is president. : Fifty-seven offices ste operated | in Indiana, Illiniis, Towa, Kentucky," Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Ohio. The company’s net income last year was $795,284.77, as compared with $718,495.10 in 1938, the prospectus stated. Its assets on Dec. 31, 1939, were $11,878,204.87 which included $1,537,943.04 in cash and $10,143,048.78 in notes receivable, net of reserves. Liabilities, other than capital stock and spls, totaled $5,565,520.51. ©
