Mrs. Whitaker to Speak “The Place of Serority Alumrve in Community Life” was to be the subject of Mrs. Robert Whitaker, Ft. Wayne. Others to be seated at the speakers’ table are Mrs. William B. Wileox, state alumnae chairman; Mrs. Kenneth Hufford, Mrs. George P. Dennerline and the presidents of the active chapters. Members of the Indianapolis Alumnae Association are hostesses for the lunche eon apd the dance tonight. Mrs. Eberhart was to preside at the luncheon. Enchantress’ carnations; the soe rority flower, sweet peas and snapii in rose and white, the so0rority colors, were to center the speakers’ table. Candelabra with rose and white tapers were to be used on the table. Old-fashioned nosegays of carnations ang sweet peas were to be arranged ‘in platealis on the smaller tables and were to serve as favors for the guests. These tables also were to have rose and white candles. An illuminated replica of the serority pin was to hang at one end of the room,

A silver cup was to be awarded the active chapter winning a song contest, Mrs. Wilbur Shannon is chairman of arrangements for the dance, ase sisted by Mesdames E. A. Boucher, R. S. Hiatt, John E. Mitchell, John Tatum and Miss Ruby Lou Lillard. Dick Robbins’ orchestra will play.
