P.). —Hamilton McFadden, actor and director, told police today that he and his guests had been victims of a robbery that had made some of his dramatizations appear tame by comparison. He was entertaining producer Richard Kahn and ‘Mrs. Kahn last night when he answered the doorbell and a youth pointed a sawed-off shotgun at him. The bandit waved the gun around the room and collected $52. As the youth was leaving, Mr. McFadden’s 4-year-old son toddled in crying, “oh. bad | mans.”

Injunction Suit Cited
The repealer is sponsored by Council president Joseph Wood. Mr. Wood told councilmen at the last meeting he believed the 1937 restrictions should be taken off the| books, since the City cannot enforce them because of an injunction: suit filed to prevent their operation several years ago. The ordinances which Mr. Wood wants to repeal charged a $125 license fee and 50-cent registration fee.
