LOANS T0 BE DENIED LABOR ACT LITIGANTS
WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 (U.P).— Chairman J. Warren Madden of the National Labor Relations Board revealed today that the Reconstruction Finance Corp. has agreed to withhold loans from firms found by the Labor Board to be violators of the Wagner Labor Act. Mr. Madden said that he understood the RFC had made a similar agreement with the Wage-Hour Administration to withheld funds from firms which were found to have #io- ‘ lated wage and hour requirements. The procedure agreed upon by the board and the RFC provides for the lioan agency to submit to the NLRB each week a list of Government loans authorized to business firms. The board checks the list and advises the RFC whether any of the firms are involved in labor board cases. In instances where a complaint has been issued, loans are withheld pending final determination of the -case. If the board has issued a final decision finding a firm guilty of a Wagner Act violation, then loan disbursements are suspended _ indéfinitely.
