Revue at Shortridge Feb. 9 To Take Place of ProPosed Theater Week.

An all-boy show and revue will be held by Indiana’s Boys Town at 8:15 p. m, Feb. 9 at Caleb Mills Hall, Shortridge High School. The revue will take the place of the Boys Town Theater Week, which was to be held next week. The proposed Theater Week was abandoned because proceeds would not be large enough, Ben Scalf, Boys Town director, said. The show will feature acts from the six Boys Town units in Marion County. It will be augmented by professional talent and will be directed by Jack Duvall, dramatic instructor at the Stork: School of

Music.

For Candidates in 25 Races.

The County Clerk's office began

tin earnest today the tedious clerical

| work of preparing forms for the Et [May primary County elections.

The 1940 primary is an “off year”

& [election as far as County offices are

concerned but the work incidental to preparing for the vote is expected to be as great as in general County elections. Workers in the Clerk’s office now

candidates must file before April 6, declaring their intentions of running. There is a different form for declaration of candidacy for each of the nine classes of public offices which will be voted upon this year. There are 25 separate offices under jurisdiction of the Marion County Election Board, of which

are drafting numerous forms which.
