The discussions will be a part of the program of the 32nd annual meeting of the Home Missions Council and the Council of Women for Home Missions. : The annual convention is being held here with the co-operation of the Church Federation and Ministerial Association of Indianapolis and the Indiana Rural Life Council and the Indianapolis Council of Federated Church Women. Also on the agenda will be studies of the place of the rural home and ie rural community in American e. | The group will meet and decide upon which mission books will be studied by the women’s mission councils of all denominations during the coming year. Among those who: will speak will be Miss Dale Ellis, executive secretary of institutional home missions of the Disciples of Christ United Christian Missionary Society here. Miss Dale has been a missionary to’ the Philippine Islands and has been a teacher of English in Silliman Institute, the largest Protestant college in the islands. A feature of this year’s gathering

will be the public meetings Sunday in the First Baptist Church for young people in the afternoon and for other age groups that evening, at which Methodist Bishop Francis J. McConnell of New York will speak. The business sessions and open discussions of the Councils will be held at the Hotel Severin, begihning Friday at 10:30 a. m.
