Princeton Alumni to Entertain Cast of Triangle Club's Show
Local Princeton alumni are preparing to give the cast of Princeton Triangle Club show a rousing good time when they come to the Murat Theater Dec. 23 with “Any Moment Now.” A debutante committee has been appointed to help
the entertainment committee in making the show a hit locally. Members are the Misses Nina Brown, Barbara Stafford, Prudence Brown. Mildred Milliken, Lucille Schaf and Emmy Pantzer. They will assist Sylvester Johnson Sr, Slyvester Johnson Jr. and Alfred Stokely, members of the arrangements committee. This year’s show concerns a Long Island debutante and her troubles in receiving a $5.000000 trust fund if she is married before she becomes 21. Donald McLeod, president of the Indianapolis alumni organization, is in charge of all committees, Booth Tarkington, who usually reserves a box at the Murat for the Triangle show, has sent his regrets this year. He and Mrs. Tarkington plan to spend the Christmas holidays in Philadelphia. He probably will come to Indianapolis about Jan. 7. Mr. Tarkington was the first Triangle Club president in 1893 and wrote “The Right Honorable Julius Caesar.” He's still loyal to the “good old days.” too. for in his message of regret he says that although the scenery and costumes are much nore elaborate than they were in his day, the singing was just as good if not better in those times.
Lambe Club Rehearsal Tomorrow Dress rehearsal for the Lambs Club frolic Saturday night will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow night. Their musical show, “Christmas Eve on the Lambs Duce Ranch.” will be presented in the Columbia lub. Ranch songs and stunts will be included in the entertainment. A chorus of cowboys and cowgirls will dance the Boomps-a-Daisy, La Conga and Tango . Mr. and Mrs. J. Perry Meek are chairmen of the production committee, assisted by Messrs. and Mesdames Irving M. Fauvre, John H. Bookwalter and William B. Ansted Jr. Dinner will be served at 9 p. m. and the show will go on at 1 po m.
