NEW. YORK, Nov. 24 (U. P.).— Fritz Kuhn's “Golden Angel,” blond Florence: Camp, testified at his grand ‘larceny trial today that she went to Reno in ‘1938 because the German - American Bund leader asked her “to start divorce proceedings.” Mrs. Camp, on whom the state charges Kuhn spent money belonging to the Bund, was called as the first- rebuttal witness after the defense had rested. Diminutive and pretty and dressed in black, Mrs. Camp identified the defendant who a moment before had snubbed her in the corridor and who glared angrily at her as she testified. She said she met Kuhn on the S. S. Westernland en route to Europe in February, 1938, and that he proposed marriage in a shipboard letter. . She identified the radio telegraph blank on which’ the proposal was written. On her return, she went to Reno, after taking ‘leave of Kuhn in New York. HEARS WIFE PREACH, KILLS HER AND SELF
DETROIT, Nov 24 (U. P.)— Police reconstructed today the story of how George Bryant, 60-year-old WPA worker, tantalized his wife, an ordained minister, as she preached a Thanksgiving sermon, then slashed her throat with a razor and committed suicide when she returned home. Mrs. Flossie Dooley, daughter of the slain couple, found their bodies side by side, their throats cut and an old-fashioned razor lying nearby, when she called for them yesterday to take them to Thanksgiving dinner. - Police said that Mrs. Bryant preached Thanksgiving Eve on the text, “Never a Man Spake Like This Man.” Hér husband sat in the congregation and made faces at her, then got up and stalked out in a fit of sullen anger. Mr. and Mrs. Dooley took her home at 1 a. m. Thursday. Then, police said, Bryant.slashed his wife's throat and committed suicide. They had been married 37 years and had nine children,
