WASHINGTON, Nov. 23 (U, P.). —The Agriculture Department's Bureau of Animal Industry announced today that it has tested every herd of cattle in the United States at least once for tuberculosis. The tests, it added, “assures the successful completion of eradicating bovine tuberculosis from the United States.” . yMore than 220,000,000 tuberculin tests have been made since the campaign was instituted in 1917 at the U. S. Soldiers’ Home here, the Bureau said. Approximately 3,750,000 head of cattle, found to be diseased, were removed and slaughtered during that period.
