To Win, or Crown Is All Ohio State’s.
By STEVE SNIDER United Press Staff Correspondent CHICAGO, Nov. 200—Iowea's startling comeback from the dreary, doormat days of the last decade indicated today there still may be a fantastic finish to the Big Ten football season with the cornbelt ‘heroes in a first place tie with Ohio State. It all depends on two games— Ohio State at Michigan and Iowa
= at Northwestern. Odds *.. Jowa’s gaining a share of the title
»
are terrific but what are odds to this little wonder team? They haven't been favored in a single game since ping South Dakota. On form, Ohio State is a heavy favorite to increase its present share of the title into its first undisputed championship in 19 years simply by defeating Michigan. Iowa can beat Northwestern, then, and still be no higher than second. Beware the Wolverines! But Michigan traditionally is the flercest foe on the Buckeye schedule. Its conquests over Ohio State in the past have come often and with disastrous results. Since their defeat by Illinois, the bitterly disappointed Wolverines have stored up all their fury for the Ohio State game. The Wolves will need more than fury and Tom Harmon to halt the

O. The Bucks, in all except their upset by Cornell, have been the best Big Ten eleven since the undefeated Minnesota team of 1935. It has poise, power and brains. ‘Against Illinois Saturday, the Bucks quickly solved Bob Zuppke's baffling shifting defense and pierced it for three touchdowns. It might have been more if Coach Francis Schmidt "had wanted it. Score:

Kinnick to the Rescue Another one of those amazing fourth period assaults produced ‘Jowa’s victory over Trailing, 9 to (, as the game swung into the final stage, Jowa’s Al Coupee began to hark Nile Kinnick’s number on almost every down and Kinnick responded with touchdown passes to Capt. Erwin Prasse and Bill Green. Just as In-

Light Heavies *- (Open Mat Card
Two speedy light heavies, Jimmy Hefner, Austin, Tex., and Walter (Sneeze) Achiu, Chinese matman, will open the wrestling card tomorrow night at the Armory. They *, meet in a bne-fall tussle. It is the initial match here this season for Achiu. Everett Marshall pays his first visit of the season to the Armory ¢ when he takes on Wally Dusek in the feature attraction. The rugged 224-pound Marshall, a former title holder, let it be known a few weeks ago that he is taking on all comers in an effort to land the heavyweight crown. He is from La Junta, Colo. Wally, scaling 229, is from Omaha, Neb, and one of the five ¢ «Rioting Dusek” brothers.” Wally is said to pack a lot of power.
