Workshop ta Take Over Playhouse Sunday

The Civic Theater Workshop will take over the theater playhouse Sunday night for presentation of the season's first series of plays produced by the Workshop members. David Milligan, chairman, is leading the activities which include the play series and study groups. Mes Walter Houppert has charge of ticket sales for the entertainment. Kenneth Lemons is director of “Goodnight Please,” by James Daggett, and has been assisted by Mrs. Richard Bunch, assistant . director, and Robert McVay, stage manager. The cast includes Lois Gerdts, Lois Keeney, Margaret Kinnear, Walter Houppert, Earl Davis, Dord Kaufman and William Ratcliffe.

His cast includes Agatha Kemper, Hugh Miller, Priscilla Pierson, Mrs. Victor Griffin, James Goble and Jewel Price. Miss Mary Margaret Tutewiler supervised collection of props for all three plays. ; : Workshop members also have plays in rehearsal as part of their activities in the study groups, organized by Mrs. Ronald S. Three to Attend Mount Holyoke Meeting

- Mesdames Archer C. Sinclair, Thor G. Wesenberg and T. Baxter Rogers and Miss Helen Thornton will represent Indianapolis at the regional conference of Mount Holyoke alumnae tomorrow in Chicago. Meetings will be held at the Lake Shore Athletic Club. Mrs. Sinclair is a member of the conference committee in charge of the arrangements for the meeting. Alumnae from 14 middle west states will attend. President Roswell Gray Ham of Mount Holyoke at South Hadley, Mass., and President Mary Ashby Cheek of Rockford College, Rockford, Ill, an alumna, will be speakers.

Junior League Mourns Mrs. Riley

The Indianapolis Junior League, through its president, Mrs. Booth T. Jameson, today issued a statement on the death Wednes= day ‘of Mrs. James W. Riley. The announcement said in part: “The Junior League of Indianapolis feels deeply the loss of Mrs. Riley, who contributed so selflessly to her community and many en 8.” ed : . Mrs. Riley was professional director of the Junior League Trading Post. for 10 years until the shop became the Next-to-New Shop about two years ago. Proceeds from shop sales go to the Occupational Therapy Department at the James Whitcomb Riley Hgspital for Children. “Due to Mrs. Riley's efficient work,” the statement said, “the supporting funds for the department have been increased.” 2
