Civie Play Aids Named
Edward G. Steinmetz Jr. director of the Civic Theater, today named committees to assist with the production of “Night Must Fall,” the second play of the theater's season. The play, a psychological murder drama by Emlyn Williams, will open Saturday, Nov. 11, at the playhouse and will continue through Nov. 16. -The Civic plays usually open on Friday night but this production will open one night’ later because of the hockey game on Friday night at the Coliseum. The Civic Ice Hockey Committee is sponsoring the box seat sale for
this event.

The Marion County Homemakers’ Association was to open its two-day 12th annual achievement program this afternoon at the Indiana World War Memorial. Mrs. Nellie Warren, who recently returned from a trip to China and Japan, was to speak on “Oriental Vignettes.” :
Included on the program are reports of the year’s work in the 28 member clubs, a talk on the international situation by Frank R. Hall of the Purdue University faculty and music by several high school groups. New members were to be honored at a tea this afternoon. Work of club members will be on display. The Irvington club, headed by Mrs. J. E. Dickerson, was to be hostess for today’s program. The Homemakers’ Chorus was to sing under direction of Charles Geyer. The exhibit is designed to show parents what toys do for their children and which books are best for juvenile reading.
