HAMMOND, Ind. Oct. 27 (U. PJ). —State Senator William E. Jenner of Shoals, a candidate for the ‘Republican nomination for Governor, last night charged that relief con-

the New Deal Hoosier government.”
“Indiana has been infested with| rackets since the advent of the New|! “We saw]: them in the purchase by the State,
Deal in 1933,” he said.
of furniture, in the adoption of - school books, in the beer and liquor business, in WPA and now we see them revealed in administration of “poor relief.” “We (the Republicans) only insist that rackets and graft be eliminated and that favoritism and politics in relief-and WPA be replaced by
sound business principles.”
