Thomas of the United Automobile Workers (C.I. 0.) denied today charges made by a vice : president of the Chrysler Corp. that the union was sabotaging production and intimidating employees. BI NAZI WARSHP IS REPORTED SUNK

- OLSO, Norway, Oct. 26 (U. P.).— The newspaper Arbeiderbladest quoted an anonymous Norwegian today as saying he had been at

Wilhelmshaven, Germany, when British airplanes bombed and sank the German battleship Gneisenau. He said a bomb fell into the battleship’s funnel and exploded, sinking the ship and killing many of the crew. Berlin denied the story. The 26,000-ton Gneisenau was one of Germany’s two battleships in service. She carried 1461 ‘men, nine 11-inch and 12 5.9-inch guns. The British Air Ministry announced early last month that Wilhelmshaven had been bombed and that a battleship there had been struck. Although the Ministry did not claim that the battleship was sunk, it announced a few days later that it had reason to believe that “the raid was even more successful than first reported.”

The playboy chartered a plane: to bring Miss Troy here from the West Coast last Saturday. They were to have been married today.
