Federal Savings and Loan Association, Evansville, was elected president of the Savings and Loan league of Indiana at the closing session of the annus! convention today at the Hotel Severin. Claud Bagley, Hammond, was named first vice president and Earl C. Bucher, Huntington, second vice president. Ivan E. Cooprider, Indianapolis, was. re-elected secretarytreasurer. Discussions of public housing and private - home ~ financing problems accupied members during the morning session, in addition to the election of officers. Harold T. Donaldson, vice president of the Union Building & Loan Association, Lansing, Mich, and Fred T. Greene, Indianapolis, president of the Federal Home Loan Bank, addressed the league at a noon luncheon. . Arthur M. Weimer, dean of the School of Business Administration at Indiana oniversiy led the discussion this morning with a talk on “Trends in Public Housing and Private Home Financing.” George T. Wheldon, estate appraiser of the Home Owners Loan Corp., talked on {‘Sound Appraising” and G.
