War ‘Blacks Out’ Luxuries on Atlantic Liners—Except for Dogs

uries of trans-Atlantic shipboard life have been “blacked out” by the war. I returned yesterday from England aboard the S. S. Washington, one of- America’s finest ships, after a 12-day crossing. . About 70 men slept on cots in a
