Discusses Water Traffic in New York ‘City Tonight; In Boston Tomorrow.
Times Special’ WASHINGTON, Oct. 10.—Federal . Security Administrator Paul V. McNutt will speak on “Water Transportation” at the Propeller Club banquet af the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City tonight. - Mr. McNutt stopped in New York en route .to Boston where he will address the National Recreation Congress tomorrow night. A large delegation of Washington officials interested in leisure time activities are attending the Congress. Mr, McNutt was presented to business leaders in an informal get together in New York last night which was arranged by Oscar R. Ewing, native Hoosier and now a prominent New York City lawyer who is managing the McNutt For President Campaign on the eastern seaboard. ‘The -former Indiana Governor told them that if President Roosevelt seeks a third term he will support him, but otherwise he himself will be a candidate for the Democratic nomination. . ‘Among those at the reception were ‘W. Averill Harriman, chairman of the board of the. Union Pacific Railroad; James A. Moffatt, Standard 10il executive; Lieut. Gen. Hugh A. ‘Drum, Commanding .General of the Second Army Corps.; Earl B. | Schwulst, a banker; Frank L. Jones, | vice president of the Equitable Life Assurance Society; Federal Judge John C.
