National officers arriving here for the state conference of the Daughters of America next week are to be honor guests at several parties. The Caroline Scott’ Harrison Chapter will hold a tea and open house Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Henry M. Robert Jr. president general of the national society. Other honor guests will be Mrs. William H. Schlosser, Indiana State regent, and national and state officers here for the conference. The tea will follow the presentation of a portrait of Mrs. Caroline Scott Harrison to the Harrison home by Mrs. Robert and officers of the national organization. Miss Gloria Chandler, director of the children’s theater bureau of the American Association of Junicr Leagues, Inc., will arrive here tomorrow. During her stay, Miss. Chandler. will be the guest of Mrs. Rosamond VanCamp Hill. She will visit the Indianapolis Junior League’s Marionette Workshop in the Winter Apartments tomorrow morning.
