For Assembly's Dance Season

SOCIETY— State Symphiony Society Goes Into Last Stretch of Subscription Drive.

The Indiana State Symphony Society, nearing the end of its formal subscription drive, held the last of a series of report luncheons this noon in the Athenaeum.

The drive closes tomorrow.

Mrs. Jack A. Goodman, general subscriptions chairman, presided and DeWitt S. Morgan, superintendent of public schools in Indianapolis, was guest speaker. Guests at the luncheon were volunteer campaign workers, members of the advisory board and members of the women's committee. Announcement has been made that a silver pitcher will be awarded to the volunteer worker selling the most season subscriptions up until Friday, Nov. 17, the date of the first concert. The pitcher will be awarded at the Victory luncheon at the Athenaeum, at which high ranking workers will be honored The luncheons which were held last year before the concerts will be continued again this season.
