They have set their nuptial date for Miss Putnam, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Putnam of Lakewood, returned

recently to her home after visiting at the Beck home.

A sure sign of fall is the resumption of club meetings after the customary two months of summer doldrums. Among events planned for this week are dinners and luncheeons, several speakers, election and installation of officers, a card party and business meetings. A dinner-bridge meeting of the Ta-Wa-Sa Club will be held at 7 p. m. tomorrow at the home of Mrs. J. R. Krug, 1204 S.
