Ohio St. reported the theft almost immediately to a police squad car that happened to be in the neighborhood. The police caught one of the boys Who still had the purse and most of the money. Parolee Held After Chase
A State Reformatory parolee was held for questioning after police, seeking to halt him as a speeder, were forced to chase him a considerable distance and fire two warning shots into the air. The parolee’s car finally got out of control and struck a house at 1302 Hoefgen St. The parolee ran and ignored the warning shots. He was arrested at his home and charged with vagrancv.

Rural St, a thief cut a hole in the screen and fished his wallet containing $40 from his pocket.

SPECIAL CENSUS ALMOST ENDED

should be completed by Saturday. Gerald Ryan, supervisor, said today He said that 15 districts in the two counties have been completed and believed that the 143 remaining districts will be completed by Saturday. All results will be sent immediately to Washington for compilation, and only the population figures for the two counties will be announced here, he said
