On Wednesday, Thursday and yj Fioay nights of this week, WIRE’s rvecorded programs (11 {p. m) will bring you the voices of the late Enrico Caruso, Ernestine Schumann-Heink and Chaliapin, of Luisa Te trazzini, Louise Homer, Amelita Galli-Curci, Rosa Ponselle, Edward Johnson and others, now re« tired, as they sounded in their prime. Even the miracles of radio and television almost take a back seat for the mechanic magic which can preserve the voices of the dead, and make tangible concert-goers’ meme ories of great artists.
