Vealers and Lambs Both Show Losses Ranging To 50 Gents,

" Hog prices rebounded in to 25 cents from the lows at Indianapolis today, with most of the recovery in

lightweights, according to the Agricultural Marketing Service. The top price, quoted on 220 to 230-pounders, rose to $6. Weights 160 pounds and over were 15 cents

higher while lighter weights gained 25 cents.

Vealers were steady to 50 cents lower, with the top price at $10. Spring lambs were down 50 cents with an $8.75 op.

Sales for the first four ‘hours ran behind the corresponding period yesterday when a rally was in progress. Bonds also pursued a lower trend. U. 8S. Governments had losses ranging to 9-23 point. Foreign exchange rates generally were steady. Gold held unchanged in the London market. Commodities were mixed. ‘The stock list opened fractions to more than: a point lower in line with softness in American shares in London and then about doubled the losses in forenoon trade. After a brief period of steadiness in midsession the declines were extended mildly. Near the close, however, some covering lifted the list from the extreme bottoms. Some issiies came back a point and more.
