CHICAGO, Aug. 3 (U. P.).—Private crop experts today reported that heat and drought in July cut 38 million bushels from the prospective corn Ind sso crop and reduced spring wheat yields by an estimated 13 million bushels.

Their average estimate was for a corn crop of 2,519,000,000 bushels a hoer Pa cin oh against a July 1 figure of 2,557,000,000 bushels. The Government forecast fortis. 5&10 Stores

as of July 1 was 2,571,000,000 bushels, while last year’s crop amounted to 2,542,000,000 bushels.

The experts predicted a total domestic wheat production of 710 million bushels including 527 million bushels of winter wheat and 183 million bushels of spring. wheat. Winter wheat figures were raised two million bushels from last month which partially offset the decline in spring wheat prospects. The total wheat estimate fell 220 million bushels under last year’s bumper crop and was just about sufficient.to cover estimated home requirements of 700 million bushels for one year. The wheat forecast of 710 million bushels indicated the smallest harvest since 1936 when the yield totaled 627 million bushels, , The estimates in bushels: Spring Wheai Winter Wheat H.C.
