Harriet Anne Rauch To Become Bride of Alfred Reynolds Tonight
ISS HARRIET ANNE RAUCH, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Rauch, will be married to Alfred Owen Reynolds, Marquette, Mich., this evening in one of the outstanding ceremonies of the summer season. Mr. Reynolds is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Maxwell x, Reynoles, Marquette. The Rev. Harry Campbell will perform the marriage service at 8:30 o'clock at the Second Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Kitchen to Be Matron of Honor
‘Mrs. John M: Kitchen will be her sister's matron of honor. The bridesmaid’s will include Mrs. Lincoln B. Frazier, Marquette, sister of the bridegroom; Miss Kathryn Elliott, New Brunswick, N. J.; Miss Frances Letchford, Morristown, N. J.; Miss Marjory MacLeod, Providence, R. 1.; Miss Alice Emerson and Miss Alice Vonnegut of Indianapolis. Maxwell Kennedy Reynolds Jr. will be his brother's best man. Ushers will include Mr. Frazier, Frank James Russell Jr.,, Monroe Longyear Tibbitts, all of Marquette; Mr. Underhill of Jericho; Mr. Kitchen and John G. Rauch Jr., brother of the bride, Indianapolis. This evening’s ceremony will climax a week of many parties for Miss Rauch and her fiance. The bride attended Tudor Hall School and Bryn Mawr College. She was graduated from Dana Hall School and has studied at the University of Heidelberg. Mr. Reynolds was graduated from Gunnery Preparatory School and Princeton University. C. Lyons, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rpbert W. Lyons at the Taggart summer home there. Mrs. Lindley and her daughter will return Wednesday. Several Indianapolis residents are expected to go up for the wedding.

Magdalene Adams Prepares for Wedding
August will be a busy month for Miss Magdalene L. Adams as she tries to crowd trousseau shopping and other pre-wedding details in between the many parties planned for her by friends. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Will H. Adams. She will be married Sept. 3 to M. Turpin Davis. The bridegroom-to-be’s sister, Mrs. Gilbert Guthrie, will be Miss Adam’s matron of honor. Harrison A. Smitson of Tipton will be best man. Ushers will include Paul Woody, Robert Neale, Clark Roggie and Robert W. Dunlavy. Miss Betty Wangelin is to entertain Thursday with a personal shower in Miss Adam’s honor. Mrs. Eugene Foley is planning a linen shower for Aug. 8 and Miss Lou McWhirter and Miss Joy Geupel will be hostesses for a bathroom shower on Aug. 7. Mrs. Earl . Kinzie, the bride-to-be’s aunt, will give a crystal shower next Sat“.urday. A dinner party in the betrothed couple’s honor will be given Aug. 27 by Mr. and Mrs. Smitson and Mr. and Mrs. Roggie. Mrs. Murray Kassell will entertain on Aug. 20 and Mr. and Mrs. Adams will be hosts at a bridal dinner| preceding the wedding rehearsal on Sept. 2. Weds in Church
Miss Jean McGrayel, daughter of Mrs. Jean McGrayel, became the bride of John C. Sweeney in a ceremony at 9 o'clock this morning at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral.
The Rev. Fr. James Hickey performed the ceremony. Gilbert Sweeney, brother of the bridegroom, |, sang “Ave Maria” and other songs. The bride chose a street length white redingote ensemble with which she wore a large-brimmed white felt hat and a corsage. She carried a prayerbook and rosary. Miss Frances McGrayel, her sis+ ter, and maid of honor, also wore white in a street length dress and hat. Her ‘flowers were in a corsage, Charles Swecney, another brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Mrs. McGrayel wore a navy blue and white dress and Mrs. Clif ford Sweeney, mother of the bridegop, chose blue lace for the cere-

Recital Tomorrow
Miss Edith Jane Fish will present a group of her voice pupils in a recital tomorrow afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett E. Phi Chi Epsilons Plan Lake Outing Several members of Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority and their husbands will go to Lake Manitou, near Rochester, today to join members of other state chapters and their guests for an outing this week-end.
