NEW YORK, July 21 (U. P.)— Stacks advanced to gains ranging ‘to more than 3 points today in a resumption of the buying move ‘which brought spectacular gains into the list early this week. Trading picked up sharply, bolstering the contention of the bull
forces that investors are willing to 2 1d Hem

nearly two points although the strikes at its plants continued. Gains of 1 to more than 2 points
were common throughout the indus- |-
