RICHMOND OWES $33,801 BACK TAX
RICHMOND, Ind., July 6 (U. P.). —City Attorney Henry U. Johnson today told City officials that Richmond owes $33,801 in back taxes with penalty and interest for the County and State. The City has failed to make tax payments since 1935 when the first installment on 1934 taxes was due. The city joined with other municipalities in fighting payment of State and County taxes on the municipal light plant,
