PRISON SENTENCES GIVEN TWO MINORS
CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. 15 (U. P.).—Staniey Cochran, 18. and Reid Gilmore. 20, both of! Crawfordsville, today had been sen-| tenced to the state prison at Michican City in connection with a se-| ries of burglaries in Montgomery County, Both were sentenced by Judge Edgar A. Rice in accordance with a recent Supreme Court ruling that minors convicted of certain major crimes must be sent to the Michi-| gan City prison. { Cochran was sentenced to a 10vear term on a burglary charge and | a 10-vear term on vehicle taking while Gilmore was fined $100 and sentenced to a 10-year term on the specific charge of burglarizing the home of his grandfather, William | Ormsby. |

The most recent discoveries are sulfapvridine, pectin and riboflavin, Prof. W. F. Ambroz of the Indianapolis College of Pharmacy, said. The necessity for immunization and prophylactic treatment was stressed by Dr. W. E. Jamieson, of Eli Lilly & Co.

P).—President Albert Lebrun today rejected! the plea for clemency of Eugene Weidmann, the convicted murderer whose victims included Jean De Koven, Brooklyn dancer, and Weidmann probably will be guillotined at dawn Saturday. The sentence against Roger Million, his accomplice, was commuted to life.
