Colorful Prom Tonight to Honor

Park School's Graduating Class; Back Stage Club to Hold Outing

Members of Park School's graduating class will be honor guests tonight at one of the traditionally outstanding events of the spring social season—the school’s senior prom. Guests will enter the gymnasium to find it transformed into a ummer garden. A fountain with changing lights surrounded by a rock wall of flowers has been placed near the entrance. Suspended from the ceiling will be lanterns forming a canopy above the dance floor. At one end sprays of roses will form a flower wall on the other side of which will be a garden terrace with garden furniture and hurricane lamps. Highlight of the evening will be the grand march led by Walter L. Milliken II, president of the student council, and his partner, Miss Carolyn Culp. Mrs. Post Milliken is in charge of the party, assisted by Mrs. August C. Bohlen, and mothers of the senior boys. Several of the students are planning dinner parties to precede the dance. William Mooney, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henley Mooney, will be host to 40 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Lucius French will entertain a group of parents. Jack Behringer, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Behringer, and John Spalding, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. D.A.R. Groups Arrange Fetes For Flag Day

Two local groups of the Daughters of the American Revolution Will observe Flag Day Wednesday. One of the organizations will present an anniversary pageant. Members of the Caroline Scott {Harrison Chapter and the Old Glory Society of the Children of the American Revolution will hold a joint Flag Day party with a picnic and program at 12:30 p. m. Wednesday at Woollen's Gardens. The prize-winning essay of the D. A. R, “The Flag,” will be read at the opening of the program by Miss Rose Demerly, Lafayette. Mrs. George Caleb Wright is chairman of arrangements for the pageant depicttng the 25 years of the Old Glory Society. Assisting her wili be Mrs. Ray T. Fatout. Mrs. Fred I. Jones, junior president, will introduce the characters and Miss Jane Curry will be narrator. A copy of “Roster of Soldiers and Patriots of the American Revolution Buried in Indiana” (Mrs. Roscoe C.
