12 NEW DETOURS LISTED AS ROAD WORK IS PUSHED

Total Over State System of Highways Now Is 31; Five Are Lifted.

A new peak in highway construction was reached this week, resultimg in the addition of 12 new detours and bringing to 31 the total number established over the state system Five old detours were lifted following the completion of construction work. They were on Road 22 at mount, Road irom the BooneHamilton County lihe east. 63 south of Hillsdale and Road 229 from Napoleon to Batesville. Detours now in effect are: Ind. 3—South of Markle, 6, miles rave and Ind 116
