May wheat continued to fluctuate |over a fairly wide range in nervous trading. At the close wheat was up '2 to 1 cent, May 9c. Corn was up to 1, cent, May 50%c asked, and oats were 4 to 7s cent higher, May 33’: cents asked. Opening quotations in wheat were easier, with selling in the new crop "monte based on reports of beneficial rains in Kansas and Oklahoma, and scattered sections of the [Northwest spring wheat belt.
