CHICAGO, May 18 (U. P).— Wheat prices worked higher on the Chicago Board of Trade today with unfavorable crop reports offsetting moisture in parts of the wheat belt. May wheat continued to fluctuate |over a fairly wide range in nervous trading. At the close wheat was up '2 to 1 cent, May 9c. Corn was up to 1, cent, May 50%c asked, and oats were 4 to 7s cent higher, May 33’: cents asked. Opening quotations in wheat were easier, with selling in the new crop "monte based on reports of beneficial rains in Kansas and Oklahoma, and scattered sections of the [Northwest spring wheat belt.
