Lewis Johnson was, Judge Karabell sent for him. A whispered conference between the judge and Capt. Johnson resulted in the sending for Patrolman Byron Todd, prevention squad member, Officer Todd, who made a hurried trip from his home, signed the affidavits and both cases were continued until June 15. Bond was set at $100 for each.

Dog Triangle Straightens Out in Court

WELLAND, Ont, May 13 (U. P).—A three-way battle which had some of the aspects of a dog chasing its tail was settled today over the ownership of Barney, thrice loved cairn terrier. Ruby Wills charged her sister Jane with theft of the dog. Jane said their mother was keeping Barney for her. Mrs. Wills said the dog was hers. “Barney is said. “He's mine,” Jane said, “because I take care of him, “Barney's mine,” Mrs. Wills said. “I paid for his license and feed him.” Magistrate J. C.
