A five-day jail sentence was added on the latter charge. Execution of sentence was deferred pending the appeal. Mr. Sacks denied the charges. Lewis attended the hearing, but took no part in the proceedings.

SOUTH BEND, May 11 (U. P).—= Funeral arrangements were being made today for George Carter Miller, 64, president of the Dodge [Manufacturing Corp. of Mishawaka, who died at his home here yesterday.
