The Civic Theater is opening its year's end production in a country house setting Friday night and the Stansfield Circle is stagIng its annual benefit party at Woodstock Club Saturday night which together promise a socially pleasant week-end. Mrs. Rosamond Van Camp Hill and Mrs. Kurt F. Pantzer, who have important roles in Pau! Osborn’s “Oliver Oliver” to be presented for six nights at the Playhouse, and Mis. Harold B. Tharp, who designed the settings, have been prominent in the theater for several seasons, Mrs, Hill is a playwright and director as well as actress. Since she was cochairman of the Children’s Hour in 1923 she has been a tireless worker in the Children’s Theater. She wrote the scripts of “The Princess and the Swineherd,” “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,” “The Prince and the Pauper” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and collaborated with Mrs, George Fotheringham in writing “The Life of Stephen Foster.” She also has directed several Children’s Theater productions and served on the Civic's board of ditectors. Christamore Outing Enjoyed

Frenzel Jr.'s “Hobbyhorse Farm” Cristamore Aid Society members trooped yesterday in sweaters, skirts and tweeds for a luncheon meeting in an authentic country setting. Mrs. Frenzel Jr. was elected president of the organization for the coming year. Other new officers are Mrs. William Coleman Atkins, vice president; Mrs. William C. Bertermann, secretary, and Miss Frances Kearby, treasurer. New members elected yesterday are the Misses Irving Moxley, Barbara Haines, Margaret Ann Clippinger and Patricia FEaglesfield. The next meeting will be a luncheon June 13 at Woodstock Club. The board of directors of the Indianapolis Day Nursery will give a luncheon tomorrow at the nursery in honor of Mrs. John E.
