Crimson Cindermen to End Home Stand Against Panthers.

Times Special BLOOMINGTON, May 9.-The East's outstanding collegiate track team will be on exhibition next Saturday when Indiana University entertains Pittsburgh's cindermen in the final home dual meet of the

season. The occasion also will be a sort of home-coming for the Pitt coach, Carl Olsen, who some seasons ago turned out championship outfits at Froebel of Gary High School. Hoosier alumni also have adopted the date as the time for an in-| formal gathering, and several alum-| ni associations will visit the campus along with many high school teams and other groups. Adding a gala touch to the occasion will be the appearance of the Indiana band, the famous “MarchHundred” in its glory after a

Derby. Beauties on Parade Despite the absence of a “queen” to preside over the contest, the five outstanding campus beauties as selected by the Arbutus, the university annual, will officiate at the flag raising at the start of the meet. Pittsburgh's strength will be concentrated in the shorter races, from the 100-yard dash through the half-mile, while the Hoosiers are expected to break into the heavy scoring in the longer races and the

field events. A native Hoosier, Al Boulanger of

One of the two features on Friday's boxing show at the Armory will be a return tilt between Herb Brown, Indianapolis, and Jerry

Martin, Cincinnati lightweight. Last week they stole the show in a hard-fought six-round semiwindup and this time will head the program over eight rounds. Brown was whipped for the first time in six professional starts by Martin. After being knocked down and nearly knocked out in the second round he rallied and nearly evened the score before the finish. Matchmaker McClure announced that Kid Carsonia, local welterweight and Billy Franklin, Cincinnati, are matched in a six-round semiwindup. Carsonia fought two weeks ago and beat Dave Williams of Indianapolis. This will be Franklin's initial local appearance.
