Mrs. Frieda E. Barnard
Mrs. Frieda Engel Barnard of 5115 Carrollton Ave, wife of Harvey Barnard, died last night at Methodist Hospital.
She was born at Shumway, Ii, but had lived here for 20 years. During the World War she served with the Red Cross at Washington. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Girls of that church. Survivors include her husband; five sisters, Mrs. E. W. Fark of Indianapolis, Miss Ella Engel of Selinsgrove, Pa, Mrs. W. C. Pendrup and Mrs. C. Ray Rogers, both of Charleston, Ill, and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson of Rockford, Il, and a brother, Emil Engel of Shumway.
Mrs. Mary E. Volz
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Volz, an Indianapolis resident for 50 years, who died yesterday at her home, 817 S. Roena St. will be held at 11:30 a. m. tomorrow at the home of her son, Robert A. Schoptaw, 819 S. Roena St. Burial will be at Floral Park, She was 80. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Switz City. Survivors include the son; a sister, Mrs. Emma Sumner, of Mdianapolis; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mary E. Antrim
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Antrim, wife of Thomas Antrim, who died Wednesday at her home, 418 Centennial St, will be held at 1 p. m, tomorrow at the Conkle Funeral Home. Burial will be at Washington Park. Mrs. Antrim was born at Meffield, England. She was a member of the West Michigan Street M. E. Church. Survivors include her husband; a sister, Mrs. Nancy Greenwald, and a brother, Reginald Deakin, all of Indianapolis.
Mrs. Mary C. Munson
Mrs. Mary C. Munson, who died yesterday at her home, 2185 Dexter Ave, will be buried at Washington Park following funeral services at 3 p. Mm, tomorrow at the Conkle Funeral Home. Mrs. Munson, who was 82, was born at Belvedere, O., but had lived here 35 years. She was the widow of a Civil War Veteran, She was a memper of the Baptist Church. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Irwin C. Marr and Mrs. Claude Ferguson, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Carl Warren, of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, James A. Thompson, of Westerville, O.; one grands child and one great-grandchild,
Mrs. Anna E. Glosson
Mrs, Anna Eastridge Glosson, former Indianapolis businesswoman, died yesterday in Fayette Memorial Hospital at Connersville, where she had lived the last three months. She was 43. Mrs. Glosson, who was born at French Lick, formerly was a buyer for the old Pettis Dry Goods Co. and operated a market on Ft. Wayne Ave. for 15 years. She is survived by a son, Richard D, of Connersville; two brothers, Duke E. Painter of Indianapolis and Charles Painter of Portsmouth, O., and a sister, Mrs. Opal Kendall of South Bend. Services will be held at 2 p. m, tomorrow at the Royster & Askin Funeral Home with burial at Crown Hill.
Ulysses S. Jordan
Funeral services for Ulysses 8. Jordan, member of Spradling, Carter & Jordan Associates, accounting firm, will be held at 3:30 p. m. tomorrow at the Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home. Butial will be at Crown Hill. Mr. Jordan, who lived at 6208 N. Meridian St, died Wednesday at Methodist Hospital. The Rev. Edward Sausaman, pastor of the Broadway Evangelical Church, will officiate. Members of Calvin W. Prather Lodge 717, F & A. M, of which he was a member, will conduct services at the grave,
Henry D. Warrum
The body of Henry D. Warrum, formerly of Indianapolis and gene eral counsel for the United Mine Workers of America, was returned to Greenfield, where Masonic serve fces were to be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Park Cemetery, Services were held yesterday at Washington, where Mr. Warrum had lived since the union headquarters were moved to the capital. The Rev. Claude Morris of New York, formerly a pastor at Beech Grove, officiated. A eulogy was delivered by John L. Lewis, president of the United Mine Workers. Among those who attended were former U. 8, Senator James EF. Watson, Senator Wheeler (D. Mont) and Senator Guffey (D. Pa). The body was accompanied to Greenfield by Mrs. Warrum, a daughter, Mrs. Helen Chappell, and a franucsugner; Miss Helen Chappe .
James W. S. Hatcher
Services#or James W. S. Hatcher, 917 E. 11th St, Boer War veteran who died yesterday at City Hospital after a three-foot fall from a restaurant stool, will be held at 10:30 a. m. tomorrow at Lebanon. Burial will be there. Mr. Hatcher, who was 70, had operated a boarding house with his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Kaley Hatcher, for about 23 years. Born at Swindon, England, Mr. Hatcher served with the English Marines in South Africa, India and the Tropics. He had been an In. dianapolis resident since 1913 and was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife and two stepsons, Lee of Lebanon, and Clyde E. of Chicago.

Very Rev. Charles Duffey More than 125 priests, monsignori and an abbot attended the solemn requiem high mass for the Very Rev. Fr. Charles Duffey at St. Theresa's
Little Flower Church yesterday. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. In the sanctuary during the mass was the Rev. Columbian Thies, an abbot of New Orleans. The sermon was delivered by the Very Rev. Henry F. Dugan, chancellor of the Diocese of Indianapolis. The absolution was given by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Raymond R. Noll, pastor of SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral and vicar general.
Charles A. Achey
Funeral services for Charles A. Achey, who died at Methodist Hospital last night, are to be held at 10 a. m. Monday at the Conkle Funeral Home with burial at Washington Park Cemetery. He was 66. Mr. Achey was born at Cincinnati, had lived here 32 years. Services will be conducted by Evergreen Lodge and the Rev. H. Lu. Overdeer, West Washington Street Methodist Church pastor, will be in charge. : Mr. Achey is survived by his wife, Margaret; four daughters, Mrs. Mable Boyer, Mrs. Lucille Helmerich, Mrs. Ruth Stewart, and Mrs. Dorothy Robbins; a son, Charles Achey Jr. a sister, Mrs. Florence Little, and four grandsons.
James W. Johnson
James Walter Johnson of .311 N. Colorado Ave. died today at City Hospital. He was 49. He had lived here 10 years and was a woodworker at the Schwartz Sectional System. He is survived by his wife, Etta; a daughter, Miss Mary Ellen, and a son, Maurice, all of Indianapolis. Funeral sbrvices will be held at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow at the Dorsey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Shelbyville.
