“Swedish modern.” Livingroom draperies are cotton crash in a blue and green pattern to harmonize with the furnishings. To the right of fireplace is a builtin bookcase. The lamps as in the other rooms, are modern brass. To the left of the living room is the blue and red bedroom. Wallpaper is a red on white spiraled figcure. The carpet draperies and bedspreads are of blue cotton crash. British oak is used for the beds and a single chair is blue leather of the same shade as the carpet and drapes. One wall has a disappearing sliding panel behind which is a clothes closet. Chartreuse and green is the color scheme in the guest bedroom. The walls are papered in chartreuse Swedish paper harmonizing with the trim of the bedspread and drapes. which are of cotton The carpet matches the wallpaper. To the right of entranceway is the den. A mahogany semi-circu-lar desk with a tan leather top holds books in the base. A sofa is of bleached oak upholstered in gray tweed to match the egg-shell drapes of spun rayon. The venetian blinds are of oak as in the rest of the house except the kiichen where they are lacquered in white to match the fixtures. Other den furniture is of bleached mahogany and bleached cak. upholstered in turquoise frieze. green cloth. This room also has oak venetian blinds. Except for the bleached oak table and chairs with red leather seats, set in the dining alcove, all fixtures in the Kitchen are in white enamel. All wall space is utilized by cabinets, drawers and extra working space. Electric throughout. . the kitchen broiler, electric stove and refrigerator. Floor covering is a blue marbleized linoleum with a one-inch border in yellow to match the canary ceiling. The bath is in light brown marble with indirect ceiling light and tube lighting on each side of the plate-glass mirror. Feature of the bath are telescoping shower curtains which fold flat against the walls. Adequate closet space is vided in each room and a outside coat closet is set just inside the front door. Two doors in the reception hall are a closet and a stairway to the theoretical upstairs. When the home is rebuilt by Mr. Kellogg, following the
