Mr. and Mrs. James B. Nelson and their daughter, ~ Mrs. Julia Jean Rudd, will leave Miami today for a motor trip through the South before returning to Indianapolis the first of April. Mr. Nelson and Carl G. Fisher, formerly of Indianapolis, attended the annual outing of the “Committee of 100” last week at Miami.
| David MacKibbin, who has been at Asuncion, Paraguay, for 18 months, has sailed for home and will arrive here early next month to “ visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. McKibbin. Mr. and Mrs. McKibuin’s daughter, Miss Jean McKibbin, is back in New Vork after
a cruise to Nassau.

Mrs. Maybelle Taylor Dean is back from a six-week stay at Clearwater, Fla., with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morgan of Columbus, O. Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Retter returned yesterday from a vacation at Miami Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Donaldson G. Trone and their son, Peter, are home after spending a month at Golden Beach, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. William Cooper Kern and Mrs. John W. Kern are in Florida for three weeks. Dr. Irvine H. Page will leave Sunday to spend a few days at New Orleans. Mr. and Mrs. Stacy B. Lindley and their daughter, Laura, will leave Wednesday for a motor trip to Washington. Their other daughter, Miss Sarah Lindley who attends Swarthmore College, will join them for her two-week spring vacation. Miss Ruth Elizabeth Graham, organist of Franklin, will speak at 7:45 p. m. tomorrow before members of Kappa Chapter, Mu Phi Epsilon, national music honor sorority, at Odeon Hall. : Miss Graham will discuss “A Rapid Survey of the Composers of Organ Works.” She has been named recently. to the music faculty of Hanover College where she will assume her duties next fall.. She has been studying in New York. Mrs. Bernice Fee Mozingo will read a paper on “Historical Organ— Illustrated by Chorale Treatment,” using the chorale “O Sacred Head Now Wounded” as transcribed by the composers Walther, Bach, Brahms and Reger. Other organists who will appear on the program are Miss Charlotte Moore, Mrs. Mabel Pruitt Duncan and Miss Rebecca Shields. Miss Shields is program chairman. The event is open to the public.

Plans for White Cross Luncheon T'o Be Discussed
Plans for the annual luncheon of all Indianapolis White Cross Guild units will be discussed at meetings to be held this week. One unit has elected officers for the coming year. Officers of the organization will be elected at the annual luncheon May 11 at the Claypool Hotel. Gold and silver service cups will be awarded during the program. Mrs. W. C. Members of the Current Knowledge Club will meet at 12:30 p. m. tomorrow for a luncheon at the Colonial Tearoom. A number of folk dances and bag-
pipe music will be included on to-
day’s program at the International Exhibition of Handicrafts and Folk
Music at Ayres’ auditorium. The exhtibition will continue through Saturday, under the auspices of the Children’s Museum Guild. Mary Kocjan and Lavina Canant will present Slovak folk dances in costume at 3:30 o’clock this afternoon. Another Slovak dance is scheduled for 4:30 oclock and Tommy Blair will play bagpipe music at 4 o’clock.
Other events presented daily, which will be included on today’s program, are Miss Helen Hartinger’s “Hungarian Peasant Painting in Dirndl”; Rumanian chocheters in costume, by Miss Emily Rogozea and Miss Siliva Phillips; rug weaving; doll head carving, by Edwin Carey, pottery, basket and silver jewelry making and spinning. Members of the Orchard School Craftsmen will demonstrate stages of clay modeling from 3:30 to 5 o'clock.
City Music Leaders To Talk in Detroit
Times Special DETROIT, March 20.—Miss Ada Bicking, director of the Jordan Conservatory of Music, and Mrs. Lucille Lockman Wagner, piano instructor at the Conservatory, will take part in the Music Educators’ National Conference opening here today. Miss Bicking, who has been serving on the resolutions committee in charge of recommendations on educational policy, will speak Friday morning to the college and university section. Her subject will be “Teacher-Training From the Standpoint of the Conservatory.” Miss Bicking will preside at the general session that afternoon.
