Parliamentary Setup Due to End With Calling of New Chamber.

ROME, March 17 (UP) —Fascist Italy will complete transition from a parllamentary to a corporative state when the new Chamber of Fasces and Corporations meets at the Palazzo Montecitorio. on March 26 and it will serve to commemorate the’ 20th anniversary of Premier Mussolini’s Fascist party. The old Chamber of Deputies was killed last October by the Fascist Grand Council, through which Mussolini has gradually transformed the machinery of the state which was in parliamentary chaos, when he seized power in Rome. In the: State; private initiative must be exercised within the state, for the good of the state, and subject. to the discipline imposed by the state. Mussolini more aptly expresses it as “nothing outside the state, nothing against the state, everything within the state.” This places the emphasis, not on individual gains, but on collective benefits. oo

Members Called Councillors

Members of the new chamber no longer will be known as deputies, nor will they be chosen by elections. Hereafter they will be called national councillors. Such a name portrays clearly the idea that they are councillors or advisors of the government in the formation of laws.
