Doctors Act To Save Boy's Periled Eye
Physicians : today hoped to save the sight of 4-year-old James Lecn Grimes’ left eye as the boy apparently was ‘winning the battle for his life at St. Francis Hospital. They said that as soon as the swelling around the wound heals they can determine if the sight can be saved. When the boy was brought to the hospital last week after an accident at his home in Acton, he was given only a few hours to live. His progress has amazed hospital attendants. © The bullet was removed from the back of his head where it lodged after passing through the brain. He was accidentally shot by his father.
