Watch for Trade Name

The thrifty housewife learns to buy packaged and canned foods

age should be her insurance of the good quality she desires. Tested products give greatest satisfaction. Labels on canned fruits anc vegetables should tell the buyer the net

the food, the method of packing and in many cases the type of fruit or vegetable. A reliable manufacturer is anxious to represent his proguct truthfully. :

Easy to Clean

Stainless steel cocking uterisils are becoming increasingly popular with housewives since they are so easily kept clean and shining, requiring only ordinary washing with soap and hot water and a quick 1ub-off with a nonabrasive cleanse: now and then. With ordinary cais they wear indefinitely and do not mar or dent easily. Casserples of stainless steel are good oven-to-table utensils, too, since this metal has a luster akin to old silver.
