A nev stamp commemorating “the New, York’s World's Fair will be placed! on sale at the Indianapolis Post Office shortly after April 1, Adolph Seidensticker, postmaster, said today. The 3-cent purple stamp carries the Fair's symbols, the Trylon and Perisphere, against. a white backound. ge first-day cancellations of the new issue on April 1, when it is placed on sale in New York, are advised to send not more than 10 addressed envelopes to the Postmastér at New York. The stamps will be placed on sale here as soon as they can be printed and distributed -after April 1, Mr. Seidensticker said.

S50,000 BAIL PUTUP FOR CONVICTED SPY
Gorin Penalty Due Monday; 42 Years Possible. |
LOS ANGELES, March 14 (U. 2). —Mikhail Gorin, Russian travel agent convicted last week in Federal Court of three counts of espionage and conspiracy, was out of the County Jail teday on $50,000 bail. His codefendant, Hafis Saligh, fermer U, 8, Naval Intelligence attache convicted with Gorin, remained in jail, unable to meet the high bond requirements. Gorin, who prior to conviction had been at liberty under $25,000 bail, had been unable to furnish gdditional $25,000 bond set by Federal Judge Ralph E. Jenney en motion of U, 8, District Attorney Ben Harrisen. The Seviet Inteurist Bureau, Ine, government travel bureau which employed Gorin underwrote the additional bond. ! Gorin will be sentenced Monday. Under law his penalty could total 42 years. i

Benjamin Hartman Jr., 40, of 3113 Central Ave., was in critical condition at City Hospital today after he allegedly struck his 71-year-old father, Benjamin Hartman Sr., with a tack hammer, : Bertha Hartman, 34, sister of Benjamin Jr., told police that her brother struck their father with the hammer in an argument over money. She took her father to a doctor, she said, and returned te find her brother bleeding profusely from the left wrist. He was taken to the Hospital by pelice whe held him in the detention ward pending an investigation.

ELKHART, March 14 \U. P).— Funeral services will be held Wednesday for James J. Littrell, 64, Elkhart postmaster, who died in a hospital here yesterday following an operation. Prominent in Demacratic politics, Mr. Litirell also served two terms as postmaster during the Wilsen Adminstration.
