soybeans sold at 87% cents, a new peak. Trading in other grains was slow! Wheat fell back to previous closing levels, after a firm start. An upturn of #% to 1 cent at Liverpool was credited to technical conditions only, and had little effect in local trading after the opening. Prices held within a very narrow range. ‘An announcement by the Government that about two million bushels of wheat would be bought and ground for flour allotments to the needy was a constructive influence.
+ Corn followed the trend in wheat.

Her program includes an aria from Gounod’s oomen and Juliet,” and songs by Bellini, Watts and Charles. Also listed is Adam’s “Variations on a Theme by Mozart.” Actually ihis compositions theme is the French folk song, Jani vous dirai-je Ma=man,” which was in existence long before Mozart was.
