Miss Ernestine Elizabeth Bradford will be entertawned at several informal parties preceding her marriage March 15 at the Propylaeum to George Rose of Washington.

Guests at the luncheon at Woodstock Club given in her honor today by Mrs. G. Vance Smith included Mesdames Hugh Carpenter, Neil C. Estabrook, Gaylord A. Wood, Herbert W. Todd, Harry V. Wade, Allen C. Miller, Albert Lang and Miss Sarah Frances Kackley. Mrs. Miller will give a luncheon party Thursday and Miss Kackley will entertain Monday evening for Miss Bradford artd Mr. Rose. Thanks to her recent career as comedienne Miss Christine ~ Ramsey has been dubbed “chief entertainer” at Vassar College. She has had professional dramatic experience which has been valuable in her faculty! position as instructor in English speech. She is to be guest of honor at the lndiana Vassar Club’s tea at 3 p. m. Friday at the home of Mrs. Eugene C. Miller. During her one-day visit here she will interview high school pupils interested in Vassar, ; Miss Ramsey played in stock for a -season with Stuart Walker in Cincinnati, had !one reportory season with the National Junior Theater in Washington and Philadelphia and two summer seasons of stock with the University Players at West Falmouth, Mass. For a time while she was acting she worked in the education department of the National Council for Preventipn of War in Washington.
