Funeral services . for Charles H. Hamilton, a retired livestock salesman, are to be at 1 p. m. tomorrow in the Hisey & Titus Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Washington Park Cémetery. Mr. Hamilton, who was 70, died yesterday at his home, 1934 Park Ave. Until his retirement six years ago- he had been a salesman for various commission firms at the Indianapolis Union Stockyards. He had lived in Indianapolis for 36 years and was a member of the Middletown Lodge, 271, F. & A. M. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Stella Hamilton; a son, Kenenth Hamilton; a nephew, Lucien Coyner, all of Indianapolis; three sisters, Miss Sylvia Hamilton, Mrs. Kittie Sidensticker, Chicago, and Mrs: Josie Booher, Thorntown.

Frank A. Shields, a lifelong resident of Marion County, died yesterday in his home, 3435 Kenwood Ave. He was 82 and a member of the Capitol Avenue M. E. Church and the I. O. O. F. lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Shields; a son, Robert of Dayton, O., and a grandson, Emerson Shields of Dayton.

A retired Indianapolis shoe merchant, William H. Barr died yesterday in his home, 1428 N. LaSalle St. Mr. Barr, who 75, operated a shoe store. at 404 E. Washington St. for 43 years, retiring five years ago. He was born in Quebec, Canada, and moved to Minnesota before coming to Indianapolis in 1890. He was a member of the Woodruff Place Baptist Church and a member of the board of deacons for many years. Services will be at 2 p. m. tomorrow at Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary and burial will be in Crown Hill.
